KRISTINE DRAGLAND
Kristine Dragland is an artist working with intimately linking painting, video, sculpture and sound, aiming to create holistic works in a space where the components of the process of making works and its final outcomes are closely united.
The Meaning of Life is an artwork that emerges from six collaborative projects that are slowly being documented on www.themeaningoflife.no. The project is inspired by the Monty Python movie by the same name, and it´s aim and form are a reflection on the various stages in life viewed from an approach that points to the absurdity of being alive at all.
The project involves several personal collaborations across generations, with a desire to use a greater honesty and own life as a point of departure. It will run for many years and exist mainly outside the traditional gallery space.
